Hello, So we are currently experiencing issues with our AVR drone when it comes to lifting it off the ground. This is the same drone that we flew at last years competition. We have tried to calibrate it multiple times, but it still does not work. We think it is because of our software being outdated but are not completely sure. We also thought our ESC was bad so we tried switching it out. Are there are ways we could possibly fix this? Thank you!
This seems to be a similar problem to what your having.
I wanted to provide some clarity just so you don’t end up troubleshooting the wrong component. The VMC and AVR software are not necessary for basic flight in stabilized mode. If you’re trying to execute a simple takeoff then keep your focus on troubleshooting the ESC, Pixhawk, and QGC calibration. Do you have a video of the takeoff behavior?
