When using the AVR GUI we are not able to control the peripherals. We can control them using the PCC tester when directly wired to the PCC via micro usb. We have gone through the assembly guide and tried everything. For example, re flashing the pcc, re flashing the SD card, update the VMC and PCC software, etc. Also, whenever we using the AVR GUI we get an error over and over again that says extra inputs are not permitted.
We have the same problem with the GUI not controlling peripherals on the AVR, what we are currently doing is using a older release of the GUI. The version is AVRGUI.c22328e

I’d like to get this sorted and update our docs to link to the proper release. @CoastJRA sorry for the hassle here. I know that there have been some updates to various packages that cause newer versions of the GUI to complain about the error you mentioned.
