The way our mechanism for the boxes works is connected to our GUI, which is done on a laptop. However it often times disconnects completely from the drone during competition, what are soem tips to preventing/stopping that all together?
We have struggled with the same issue at numerous events - it is very discouraging. I do not know if it is interference from the concentration of teams, but it happens more when the set up area is near the competition field and happens less so when the set up area is further away.
I hope future events have the set up area a few hundred meters from the competition fields and preferably in a different building - that’s when we’ve seen the issue the least.

Our team experienced this also, and while this doesn’t completely fix it, we found keeping the computer as close to the AVR drone as possible while in flight helped keep the GUI connected.
