The gimbal only goes to open and close position, it doesn’t let us look around, we flashed the PCC and looked through the book and we do not know what else to do. Does anyone have any suggestions to fix this?
What do you mean by it only going to the open and close position? Are you using the joystick in the GUI and the gimbal snaps to the edges? A video would help a lot.
Were you able to test the PCC and all the servos successfully with the PCC tester before installing the gimbal? If so, I think it’s likely you have a mechanical issue with your gimbal rather than the servos.
Be careful which PWM ports the gimbal servos are plugged into. 2 of the ports are mapped to the AVR GUI tab that only controls open/close. The other 2 are mapped to the AVR GUI virtual joystick that controls moves the thermal camera and fires the laser.
