I attempted to update the DEXI OS to the latest version, and when I plugged it in the drone immediately booted up fairly quickly which I don’t know if it updates faster compared to previous years, but once I looked the wifi was not visible to my computer my external antenna is on, but the blue light on the board is flashing rapidly its the blue LED
@JadenPetty I hope you’re doing well. The OS will boot much faster than previous versions, but I’m not sure why you’re unable to see the Wifi network. One thing you can try is plugging in a micro HDMI cable into the back of the ARK board and watch the boot sequence on a monitor. Are you able to arm your DEXI drone and get the motors to spin? If not, does it give an audible tone?
I plugged it into a monitor and nothing came up. The DEXI is still able to arm with the controller, and there is an audible tone, which is just the regular boot-up sound.
Can you confirm if you’re using v0.10 here?
I’m wondering if your SD card may be corrupt or if something else is going on. What tool did you use to flash DEXI-OS to the SD card?
We found a solution we completely wiped then redownloaded on the sd card and found out after the update it now changes the name of the wifi on the dexi
Glad to hear you have it sorted out. When you say “changes the name of the wifi on the DEXI” are you referring to the fact that the wifi SSID is different than with previous versions of DEXI-OS? If so, it’s because we updated how we manage the DEXI network as well as how it connects to other networks. You can learn more at the following repo, which gets installed in the DEXI-OS image when we release new updates:
