If we only move one Conex box to the railway with a mini inside it, can we fix the broken area and then activate the train? We lose out on the points for the other conex box, but will we get the points for activating the train?
Hello Shivam - To help clarify some understanding of the Sphero mini requirements: To get maximum point values, teams should load all 3 of the Spheros onto the Conex boxes to get to the work sites. Specifically for Mission 1, note that Page 24 - AVR Drone - Railway Actions (b) states that “If the RVR Loader has placed the Conex Tool Box on the Loading Helipad with
the Sphero Technicians on-board (1 or 2 per Conex Box), then the AVR Drone
can latch on to the Conex Box to deliver it to either one of the two Railway
Parking Spots” To clarify, each Conex Box needs to have at least 1 (one) Sphero on board and a max of 2 (two) on board.
To address your specific question, on Page 25 - Sphero Technicians - Railway Actions (b) states “To complete the railway repairs, two of the Technicians must contact the switch buttons at the two damage sites that have been identified” and (c) states “Once the two switch buttons have been contacted, the third Technician can contact the red switch button at the center of the Railway Platform which will start the train moving again”
SO - it does require 2(two) Spheros to fix the two damage areas before one of them can go activate the train. The statement that “the third Technician can contact the red switch button…” is meant to be a strategy to finish Mission 1 quickly, but any of the 3 Spheros can activate the train switch, once the two damage area switches have been activated by 2 (two) of the Spheros.
To finally answer your question! - A single Sphero cannot activate both damage switches and the train switch.

Does a Conex Box have to be in the railway parking spot in order for the Spheros to gain points for pushing railway buttons? Also, do the Spheros have to travel to the Container Yard before pushing the railway buttons?
GioOC8 - I think your questions can be answered by the post above from Oct 28th, but to answer your two questions directly, the first answer is YES and for the second answer it would be “Spheros have to travel with the Conex Box which takes off from the Helipad and lands on the railway parking spot to then travel to push the railway buttons at the identified damage areas”.
