Rule 8.1.2 states that AVR Drones must pass a “wall test” to ensure effective propeller guard coverage. Although it’s not explicitly stated, does the Tello drone also need to use the included propeller guards and pass such a test? We’re asking because the propeller guards take up the majority of the weight that the Tello drone can lift.
It is not allowed for the Tello prop guard to be removed. In addition to safety features, drones without prop guards can often get tangled up high in the netting which is difficult to access and is disruptive to the match time. Thank you
