# Connecting to the Jetson Issue

We are on the step where we are connecting to the Jetson for the first time. We are using serial, but the jetson is not showing on the COM and Ports. The light is on, jumper is also taken off, but the computer is not registering the device. Any suggestions on how to fix the problem? Thank you!

For anyone who’s having this issue: we had it too and were not able to fix it, we had to use another jetson we had from a previous year.
