# Competition Game Members

Hello,

We saw in the video that there must be a minimum of 7 members on the field, but it didn’t mention whether we could have an 8th member on the field, in practice we found that we need this extra member to help organize the timings. In the competition will we be allowed to have this 8th member?

Hello Matthew - Yes you can have an 8th member on the court. We have a general limit of not allowing more than 12 members on the court during a match.
