Is the competition floor carpet or a hard surface such as concrete?

The court will be a 15x40ft sheet of designed vinyl laid over hard flooring. The bridge will be similar with vinyl laid over MDO plywood.

Two questions:
- What are the April Tag numbers for DEXI scanning?
- Is the tech center fastened to the ground in some way, or is it just placed down and pushable?

On page 7 of the game manual you’ll see april tags 1-6
Not sure about the tech center, but I’ll let @Rohn chime in on this one.

Another question, what is the April Tag ID for the April Tags I have circled in red? We were able to match all of the other ones with those listed on page 7 of the game manual, but these were the only ones that didn’t match anything listed.

Hello Trey - This was a good catch and I can understand the confusion. Just to clarify, the April Tags for the competition events will only consist of the six April Tags as shown on Figure 4.5. When we posted the 3D CAD model on OnShape, we were trying to represent a general set of April Tags and a general location as to where April Tags would be located, but we didn’t make it clear that the April Tags will be set up at each of the events and they will be changed at different times. The challenge is for the DEXI to identify the April Tag and activate the appropriate LED light (red, blue or yellow) regardless of which April Tag is placed at each of the specified six locations at the Train Platform, the six locations on the Bridge and at the five locations at the Power Poles. Thanks for bringing this to our attention and hope this clarifies everything.

For the transformer hotspots, is only the top hot or are all sides of the transformer hot? Based on the CAD, it looks like it’s just on the top but I just want to clarify.

Brody - The hotspots are only on the top of the transformer. There is a BoM list for parts on Page 44 of the Game Manual which provides a link to purchase the “Warmer Plate” which will be used for the Competition Court.
